The Art Basel Cities: Buenos Aires took place the week of September 6 to 12. There were 7 days of celebration and artistic exhibition; a trip through the city of Buenos Aires through the perspective and work of 18 local and international artists who exhibited their experimental installations with participative actions and performances in different points.
An exceptional event that had more than 65,000 visitors and also offered 85 activities open to the public, positioning the city of Buenos Aires as the world’s cultural capital.
Among many works, “Rayuela” was highlighted, inspired by the experimental work of Julio Cortázar, characterized by a ludic reading and without linear order.
The spectators enjoyed setting up their own tour through the different lockers of the city: La Boca, Puerto Madero, Retiro, Palermo and Recoleta where Base3 was responsible for producing and installing a series of graphic and informative materials essential for the communication of the event.
For opening, we make polyphonic and acrylic corporeal letters. We also plotted containers that served as information points and transportation vans for the event.
We manufacture and place printed PVC totems directly and place signage material on floor vinyl for different sidewalks in the city.
We managed to perform the installation in just 3 days, and after the exhibition was finished, we took care of removing everything assembled.
Once again base3 lived up to the biggest events in the city.
Proud of our participation in the project. Thanks for trusting us!
