Some installations are done with a ladder, a cutter and a coffee.
Others require controlled temperature, precise logistics and a helicopter.
Location:Grandvalira ski resort (Andorra), specifically the Veuve Clicquot Terrace (El Tarter, Canillo).
Brief:Venue Brand Experience asked us to wrap a ski cabin with the corporate branding of their client, Veuve Clicquot.
And here was the catch: it’s cold on a mountain. Very cold.
For proper application, vinyl needs a tempered environment to bond correctly and conform to complex shapes.
The challenge: vinyl doesn’t negotiate with snow
The cabin featured a corrugated surface—ridges, reliefs, curves… and no room for “it will stick later”.
When vinyl is too cold, it becomes stiffer, harder to handle and the risk of failure increases.
Now add:
In short: we either did it right… or we didn’t do it.
The solution: heat first. Then… take off
To ensure a flawless finish, we implemented a solution that’s simple to describe and complex to execute:
Because sometimes, to make a brand stand out on a mountain… you literally have to bring it in by air.
The outcome: a premium après-ski photo spot
The cabin will serve as a photo point for visitors during après-ski, designed to make people stop, look and say: “This is the shot.”
We also refreshed and repaired other terrace elements, leaving the full space ready to welcome guests with the level of detail a premium setting demands.
